Payment plan
We will work with you to agree a realistic payment plan to collect unpaid rent within a reasonable time, without the need for more serious recovery action.
Rent arrears
We will not ignore rent arrears because this would not help you and would increase the cost of managing and maintaining homes for everybody else.
Additional benefits
Daventry & District Housing staff will help you access additional benefits advice and specialist debt counselling agencies should you need them.
Advice
If you are having difficulty in paying your rent contact us on 01327 707500 immediately.
You will be offered advice on welfare benefits, dealing with debt and we will agree with you how the debt will be repaid.
You can also get independent debt advice via the National Debtline on 0808 0808 4000 or from the Citizens Advice Bureau in Daventry on 01327 706464.
Remember if you do not pay your rent then you may lose your home.
