Adaptations

We have budgeted £275,000 per year to carry out adaptations to properties for people with disabilities.

If you feel you need an adaptation to your home to improve your quality of life you should first contact our Customer Services Team on 01327 707500.

They will arrange for a qualified professional to carry out an assessment of your home and your needs.

Types of adaptation include:

• Ramped or level access to properties

• Handrails and grab rails

• Key safes

• Level-access showers

• Widened door openings

• Door entry systems.

Alternatively we could also help you to find more suitable accommodation if this is the best option.
